The HyperOS update for India's Redmi Note 13 5G series is ready for release. The company recently confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro, the Note 13 Pro+, and the base model will receive an update, replacing their current Android 14-based UI with the latest version. Interestingly, the HyperOS user interface was first unveiled in India in February this year by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Smartphones, smart home appliances, and electric cars made by the firm will all use the new interface. On Friday, Xiaomi announced the launch of HyperOS on X (previously Twitter). The update is reportedly being handed out to Redmi Note 13 series users in the nation, which would take a few days. The Redmi Note 12 series is also expected to receive the update in the future.
The HyperOS interface's new design takes inspiration from the vivid colours of life. Mi Sans, a brand-new font from Xiaomi, is compatible with 20 different writing systems and 600 different languages. Users have a variety of options for customising their lock screen. The system apps from Xiaomi now feel softer and more textured, without straining the eyes.
