Xiaomi is launching products for ‘smart living’ on September 17. Along with these products, the company may also launch its fitness band. In a tweet, Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain hinted at the launch of the fourth generation of a product, which is most likely to be the Mi Band 4. The Mi Band 4 is already available in China, and its India launch was already in the pipeline since long.
As per the image shared by the executive in the tweet, the second ‘i’ in ‘Smart Living’ looks a lot like the front of a fitness band. The arc around the text features icons that are generally used to indicate calls, text messages, heart rate and exercise tracking. You can check out the tweet below.

Mi Band 4 was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 169 (approx Rs 1,700), and an NFC version was available for CNY 229 (approx Rs 2,300). Its predecessor Mi Band 3 was launched in May at a price of Rs 1,999 in India. Given the aggressive pricing of Xiaomi products, it is expected that the latest fitness tracker will be similarly priced as its predecessor.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen colour display that offers a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels. The wearable was launched in Orange, Purple, Black, Burgundy and Beige colours in China, however, it is yet to be seen whether the company brings all these colours options to India. It is equipped with features like heart rate sensor, and has an assistant built-in for voice commands. It is powered by a 135 mAh battery and Xiaomi claims that the Mi Band 4 battery can last up to 20 days on a single charge.
