Previously scheduled to launch on March 31, the Xiaomi Mi 10 has been finally launched in the Indian market today. On top of that, Xiaomi has also launched two new products alongside its new flagship smartphone – the Mi Box 4K and Mi True Wireless Earphones 2.
Starting with the Xiaomi Mi 10, it's the brand's new flagship smartphone that comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and features 5G connectivity. It has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,340 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Another highlight of the Xiaomi Mi 10 is the 108MP primary shooter at the back, along with a 13MP wide-angle lens, and two 2MP sensors.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 price in India starts at ₹49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration going all the way up to ₹54,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. The Xiaomi Mi Box 4K, as the name suggests, is a standalone 4K streaming device that's capable of converting a standard TV into a smart TV via HDMI 2.0b. It runs on Android TV OS 9.0, meaning there's support for a variety of apps and services from the Android ecosystem alongside popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar. It is priced at ₹3,499 and will be available for sale starting May 11.
Lastly, Xiaomi also launched the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2, which are the first truly wireless earbuds from the company in India. It features a 14.2mm dynamic driver for an artfully tuned sound, says Xiaomi. Moreover, the Earphones 2 feature Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless connectivity.
The earphones themselves have a battery life of around 4 hours each on a single charge, while the case can provide up to 14 hours of additional juice. The case can be charged via a USB-C cable. The Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 is priced at ₹4,499 in India. However, Xiaomi will offer them for ₹3,999 in the first week, after its sale begins on May 12.
