Expanding its Mi TV 4X lineup in India, Xiaomi has announced Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 Edition for Rs 34,999 in India. The company’s TV business has seen an upward spiral since the debut of the first TV in February 2018. Mi TV has witnessed market leadership for five consecutive quarters, with a 32 per cent market share as per IDC Worldwide Quarterly Smart Home Device Tracker, 2019 Q2 release. Xiaomi claims that in just 28 days, over 600,000 Mi TVs were sold during Diwali With Mi across Mi.com, Flipkart, Amazon and all offline channels.
The Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 Edition will be available starting December 2 from noon on Mi.com, Amazon and Mi Home. Customers purchasing Mi TVs on or till January 31 will be eligible for an Airtel DTH connection with four months subscription at Rs 1,800 as compared to the regular price of Rs 3,450.
Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 Edition features a 4K 10-bit HDR display with the company’s in-house image processing algorithm, Vivid Picture Engine. It comes with 20W speakers that are certified for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. Xiaomi’s indigenously-designed PatchWall 2.0 UI with Android 9 Pie powers the TV and it brings a library of 4K content with native support for Netflix, Prime Video and Hotstar alongside 16 leading content partners and 7 live news channels across 7 languages. Mi TV 4X (55) 2020 Edition comes with Google’s latest Android TV 9.0 bringing Google Assistant, YouTube, Chromecast, Google Play Store and Data Saver built-in.
The company has also announced its annual 'Black Friday Sale' across Mi.com, Mi Home, Flipkart, Amazon and all offline partner outlets. The annual Black Friday Sale event will start on November 29 and will be live till December 2. During the sale, the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Redmi Note 8 will be available in Electric Blue and Cosmic Purple colours. The Mi A3 will be on discount for the first time. Some of the other offers include discounts on the popular Redmi Note 7 Pro which will be available for Rs 11,999 for 6GB+64GB variant and Rs 12,999 for 6GB+128GB variant. The Redmi K20 Pro will be available for Rs 25,999 and Rs 28,999 for 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants, respectively.
