Xiaomi earlier confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Note 14 series in December 2024 in the Indian market. The Redmi Note 14 series sold in China comprises the Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and the Note 14 Pro+. We expect all three versions to make their way here, albeit with slight changes over the China-spec models. While the teaser images released over a couple of days don't categorically mention what bike they pertain to, the Redmi Note 14 series seems to be the most likely one at the moment as suggested by the 'Ready For A Noteworthy Reveal?' text. Upon launch in our market, the upcoming Redmi Note 14 series is expected to have a new camera setup and chipset, along with bigger batteries and faster charging capabilities.

The Redmi Note 14 available abroad packs a 5,110mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, while the mid-spec Pro variant comes with a larger 5,500mAh battery with similar charging. The top-spec Note 14 Pro+ gets a 6,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It remains to be seen how the company specs the smartphone for India.
The base Redmi Note 14 is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, just like the global version. As for the Note 14 Pro and the Note 14 Pro+, Redmi may offer the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. The latter could support up to 16GB of RAM. Xiaomi might ship phones with Android 14-based HyperOS.
Per leaks, the India-spec Redmi Note 14 Pro models will sport a 200-megapixel Samsung S5KHP3 primary lens and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens at the back. That said, the Pro+ will house a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, while the Pro will get a 2-megapixel macro camera. In China, Xiaomi offers a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera for the Note 14 Pro, and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX8000 for the Note 14 Pro+.
Coming to the entry-level Redmi Note 14, the Indian market is expected to get a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and a 16-megapixel front camera sensor. The Pro models will likely carry a 20-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ are expected to have a 6.67-inch curved-edge OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, while the standard version will most likely come with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED panel.
