Xiaomi has unleased a teaser video of its latest smartphone with the caption #CinematicVision, hinting at its imminent launch in India. While not much is known now, social media platforms offer us some clues as to what we can expect from the upcoming smartphone. The 24-second teaser video concludes with the text 'Cinematic Vision', where the Ci and Vi are shaded in red. This indicates that the Civi 4 Pro, Xiaomi's youth-oriented smartphone launched in China in March 2024, will likely make its India debut under the Xiaomi 14 Civi moniker. Though yet to be officially confirmed, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro could be the first Civi phone from Xiaomi to go on sale in our country.
Also, Xiaomi's latest teaser makes a dig at Apple's Crush! iPad Pro ad. Instead of the creative tools being crushed, the former shows a video of an industrial hydraulic press breaking down midway and showing 'Cinematic Vision' in the end.

However, this is not the first time reports like this have got us speculating about the possible launch of the Civi 4 Pro phone outside of China. If this latest teaser is any indication, expect the India-spec Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,750 x 1,236 pixels, and 3,000nits peak brightness. Moreover, the display could also get 2,160Hz PWM Dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Other features could be an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster sensor, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro could get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. For optics, the phone will most likely have a triple-camera setup at the back ( a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel 2X telephoto camera, and a 12-megapixel Omnivision OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor), while the front is expected to sport a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.

Even the battery is expected to be the same 4,700mAh unit as the China-spec Civi 4 Pro. The battery supports 67W wired fast charging. Like the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra, the upcoming device should run on Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.
