Xiaomi has launched the 14 Civi in the Indian market. Xiaomi's first-ever Civi smartphone joins the Xiaomi 14 (Rs 69,999) and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra (Rs 99,999) in the line-up. Ranging from Rs 45,999 to Rs 50,999, the Xiaomi 14 Civi is the entry point to the 14 family, yet offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and a triple rear camera setup, like the 14 and the 14 Ultra. The new smartphone comes in two storage and RAM variants – 8GB+256GB for Rs 45,999 and 12GB+512GB for Rs 50,999. Starting June 20 at 12 pm (IST), it goes on sale through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Xiaomi's retail channels.
With a flat Rs 3,000 discount on ICICI bank cards, the Xiaomi 14 Civi can be had at a starting price of Rs 42,999, while the top-end variant costs Rs 47,999. Also, the launch offers include 3 months of YouTube premium subscription and 100GB of Google One for 6 months. The bookings for the phone are underway. Interested buyers get to choose from three colour options: Cruise Blue, Matcha Green, and Shadow Black.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi uses a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It has a display that is 6.55 inches in size. The display is a curved AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. Moreover, it has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The phone tips the scales at 177 grams and measures 72.7mm in thickness.
For optics, the 14 Civi has a triple rear camera setup. Co-engineered by Leica, this setup consists of a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 image sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), f/1.63 aperture, and 25mm equivalent focal length; a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x zoom and 50mm portrait focal length; and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter with a 120-degree field of view. On the front, the phone sports dual 32-megapixel cameras for selfies. Both front and rear cameras support HDR 4K recording at 30 fps.
The battery is the same 4,700mAh unit (with 67W wired fast charging) as the China-spec Civi 4 Pro. Xiaomi claims the battery can be charged up to 80 per cent in 30 minutes. Like the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra, the upcoming device runs on Android 14-based HyperOS out-of-the-box.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. You also get stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
