Chinese smartphone maker Vivo recently launched a new smartphone in its online exclusive ‘Z’ series -- the Z1x, which will go on sale for the first time in India today. The Z1x is the company’s second offering in Z series targeted towards the Gen-Z consumers. The smartphone is available in two colours fusion blue and phantom purple.
The Vivo Z1x comes in two variants -- 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB and is priced at Rs 16,990 and Rs 18,990, respectively.
The first sale will be live from 12 p.m. onwards on Flipkart and vivo India e-store. The company also announced launch offers including up to Rs 1,250 off on HDFC cards and EMI transactions, Jio benefits worth Rs 6,000 and no cost EMI up to six months.

The Vivo Z1x (read our full review) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712AIE chipset and is fuelled by a huge 4,500mAh battery with vivo’s proprietary 22.5W FlashCharge. The smartphone comes with an AI-powered triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP super wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. At the front, there is an 32MP camera.
The Z1x sports a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display and comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor that according to Vivo can unlock the device in just 0.48 seconds. The company has also included a smart button in the Z1x, which can be used to wake up Google assistant on a single press, a double press opens the image recogniser and a press and hold opens the Google Search.
