Further expanding its Y-series line-up, Vivo has announced the Y72 5G as its latest mid-ranger is Thailand. The smartphone comes only a day after Vivo introduced the iQOO U3X 5G in the Chinese market.
The Vivo Y72 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone further features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for its 16MP front camera.
At the rear is a triple-camera layout, housing a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. It also gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and it runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1. Further, the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging via USB-C.
Priced at THB 9,999 (around ₹23,376) for the sole 8GB+128GB variant, the Vivo Y72 5G will go on sale in Thailand starting March 31. It will be available in two colours – graphite black and dream glow.
