Vivo Y50 with Snapdragon 665 SoC, 5,000mAh Battery launched in India

Available in just a sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the Vivo V50 comes powered with the Snapdragon 665 SoC and features a 16MP selfie shooter that sits in a punch-hole cutout up top.

First unveiled in April in Cambodia, the Vivo Y50 has finally made its debut in India. Available in a sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, the Vivo Y50 goes on sale today via major e-commerce platforms and partner retail stores across the country.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Y50 gets a 6.53-inch FullHD+ LCD panel with a punch hole in the top-left corner, which houses the 16MP front shooter. At the back, the smartphone features a capacitive fingerprint sensor and a quad-camera setup including, a 13MP primary, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with the Snapdragon 665 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM. It also gets a dedicated slot for a microSD card for storage expansion. The Y50 runs on the company's Funtouch OS 10 on top of Android 10 out-of-the-box. Lastly, the smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery but does not feature fast charging.

The Vivo Y50 is priced at ₹17,990 in India for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. You can grab the Vivo Y50 starting today in two colours – iris blue and pearl white.
