Vivo has introduced the new Y200 Pro 5G smartphone in India. According to the manufacturer, this newly launched model boasts the segment's slimmest 3D curved display. The Y200 Pro 5G, which retails for Rs 24,999, will be available starting today on Flipkart, Vivo India e-Store, and all partner retail locations. The 64-megapixel, optical image stabilisation (OIS) camera is another standout feature of the Vivo phone. It can be had in two colour options and only one storage and RAM configuration. The company is also gearing up to launch its first foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 3, next month. Meanwhile, here's everything you need to know about the more affordable Y200 Pro 5G.

The Vivo Y200 Pro 5G is offered in two colour options: Silk Green and Silk Black. As of now, it is available in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The model carries a price tag of Rs 24,999. Additionally, Vivo has disclosed a few bank offers for the Y200 Pro 5G. Buyers would receive an instant cashback of Rs 2,500 if they purchase the phone with a Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank, IDFC First Bank, or SBI Bank credit or debit card. This would effectively lower the phone's pricing to Rs 22,499.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED Curved Display of the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G has FHD resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and weighs 172 grams. According to the maker, the smartphone has a "cushioning structure" that essentially makes it more durable and "screen shatter-resistant." The display also shields users' eyes thanks to its SGS Low Blue Light Eye Care certification. On top of that, it has an IP54 rating. With a 6nm advanced CPU processor, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 695 5G. The device runs Funtouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14.

The phone has two rear cameras: a 64-megapixel sensor with 2x portrait mode, a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor, and an LED flash. Additionally, there's a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Super Night Mode is another feature of the Y200 Pro 5G that enhances the brightness, vividness, and clarity of nighttime or low-light photos. It also incorporates the Vlog Movie Creator mode, the Live photo feature, and Vivo's exclusive Wedding Style Portrait feature. An impressive 5000 mAh battery that powers the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G has a 44W rapid charger. The company guarantees four years of battery life and 24-dimension security protection. Vivo claims that as part of its "Made in India" campaign, the smartphone was produced at its Greater Noida plant.
