In a recent move, Vivo has introduced its latest budget-friendly mobile phone in India called the Y18i. It is priced at Rs 7,999 for the single 4GB+64GB RAM and storage configuration. The Vivo Y18i comes in Gem Green and Space Black colour options. It can be purchased through e-commerce sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, the brand's e-store, and retailers such as Croma.
Vivo's budget-friendly smartphone has a 12nm octa-core Unisoc T612 chipset. It is supported by Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14. Vivo has equipped the device with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card. Further, the smartphone gets a 5,000mAh battery.
The device sports a 6.56-inch HD+ (720x1,612 pixels) LCD display that supports a maximum brightness of 528 nits and a refresh rate that varies between 60Hz and 90Hz. For photography, the Y18i has a 13MP main camera and a 0.08MP auxiliary unit at the rear. It also has a 5MP camera at the front for taking selfies.
