The Vivo V19 was previously slated to launch on March 26, as we reported earlier this year. However, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the launch was indefinitely postponed. Now that the government has eased some restrictions, Vivo has finally launched the V19 in the Indian market.
As for its specifications, the Vivo V19 features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED hole-punch display with dual-selfie cameras, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 712 processor, coupled with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Further, the Vivo V19 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 33W FlashCharge 2.0 via USB-C port.
At the back, the V19 features a quad-camera system, which includes a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and two 2MP lenses with macro and bokeh functions. The rear cameras are capable of shooting art portrait video, super macro, super night mode, ultra-stable video, and bokeh portrait amongst other things. At the front, we have a 32MP primary camera and an 8MP wide-angle lens, both of which can capture super night selfie, super wide-angle selfie, and ultra-stable video, to name a few.
The V19 runs on Vivo's Funtouch OS 10 skin on top of Android 10. It will be available in two shades - Silver and Black. The Vivo V19 price in India starts at ₹27,990 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration, going all the way up to ₹31,990 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It will be available for sale starting May 15 on Amazon, Flipkart, Vivo's own e-store, and other e-commerce platforms.
