Vivo Pad 3 With 12.1-inch LCD Screen, Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Chip Launched

The Vivo Pad 3, a brand-new tablet from the company, is now available in China. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM. The tablet has a 12.1-inch LCD screen that can achieve a maximum brightness of 600 nits and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The new Pad 3 boasts a powerful six-speaker system, 3D VC cooling, and an incredibly smooth display. It runs on Android 14 out-of-the-box with the company's OriginOS 4 overlay pre-installed. The device further includes a 10,000mAh battery that can be charged at 44W via a USB Type-C port.

Vivo Pad 3: Price and Availability

The base variant of the Vivo Pad 3, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is priced at CNY 2,499, or around Rs 28,700. Three additional RAM and storage options, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB, are available for CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 32,100), CNY 3,099 (about Rs 35,500), and CNY 3,399 (around Rs 39,000), respectively.

Pre-orders for the Vivo Pad 3 are now available on the company's website. According to the listing, the tablet will come in three colour options: Cold Star Gray, Spring Tide Blue, and Thin Rain Purple. The sales for the Chinese market will begin on July 5. There is currently no information regarding the Vivo Pad 3's availability outside of China.

Vivo Pad 3: Specs and Features

The 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD screen on the Vivo Pad 3 has a 600 nit peak brightness and a 7:5 aspect ratio. The display supports HDR10 and has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz. The display has been verified as Low Blue Light by TÜV Rheinland. A six-speaker system is also available with the Vivo Pad 3.

The Vivo Pad 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The tablet additionally incorporates up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage (UFS 3.1 on the 128GB version). The Vivo Pad 3 features a 10,000mAh battery and 44W wired fast charging capabilities.

The Pad 3 comprises a 3D VC cooling system with a 27500 mm² surface area. The model's optics include an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera that can only shoot videos in 1080p resolution. The Vivo Pad 3 runs the Android 14-based Origin OS 4. The connectivity options consist of 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, a USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.4.
