China based Transsion Holding’s smartphone brand Tecno has announced a new ‘Phantom 9’ which will be exclusively available om Flipkart. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch screen and a 19.5:9 dot notch display. The full-HD+ AMOLED display offers 600 nits brightness and a 91.47 per cent screen to body ratio.
Phantom 9 becomes the first smartphone under 15k segment to offer in-display fingerprint sensor, claims the company. The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary camera with large f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth-sensing lens for portraits and an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens, which has a special feature of microspur supports focusing on objects within 2.5 cm. The smartphone also features Google Lens.
At the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera which uses second generation 4-in-1 pixel technology. The smartphone features a 3D back along with nano-holographic lines of light and rain jazzing up the auroras with a S-pattern.
The Phantom 9 is powered by the 2.3GHz octa-core Helio P35 processor, based on 12nm technology coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery.
The Phantom 9 is priced at Rs 14,999 and will be available via Flipkart starting July 17. The smartphone also comes with 1-time screen replacement for six months, 100 days’ free replacement, and 1-month extended warranty.
