Tecno, the Shenzhen-based mobile manufacturer, has launched the Camon 30 series in the Indian market. The series consists of the Camon 30 and the Camon 30 Premier, with the former available in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 256GB variants, and the latter only in the 12GB + 512GB variant. Math starts at Rs 22,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB version. Compared to this, the 12GB RAM + 256GB variant sets you back an extra Rs 4,000. Moving higher up the ladder, the 12GB + 512GB version costs Rs 39,999.
With an instant bank discount of Rs 3,000 on selected credit cards, purchasing the Camon 30 series will be even more affordable. Besides, you can snag some free goodies worth Rs 4,999. Starting May 23, both smartphones will go on sale on Amazon.in.

The Tecno Camon 30 series of smartphones has a sleek design with a flat frame and a prominent circular camera module at the rear. Whereas the Camon 30 gets a marble-texture glass finish, the Camon 30 Premier has a suede leather finish.
The front of the Tecno Camon 30 5G packs a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,436) and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the standard model is a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chip. On the other hand, the Premier model uses a more powerful 4nm Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip. It features a 6.77-inch (1,264x2,7800 pixels) 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with the same refresh rate as the standard version.
Both smartphones carry a 5,000mAh battery with 70W fast charging support. Along with this, the company promises three years of guaranteed OS updates and security patches. Running on the Android 14-based HiOS 14 custom skin, the Camon 30 series has an in-screen fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos support, an IR blaster, dual speakers, infrared remote control, and NFC.
For optics, you get a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, the Camon 30 gets a dual-camera setup (a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor), whereas the Premier version's triple camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera (3x optical), and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

A range of connectivity options is also present, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GNSS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on the Camon 30 5G series include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
