The Samsung Galaxy Ring was officially introduced at the brand's second Galaxy Unpacked event of the year, which took place in Paris. The ring was unveiled alongside the most recent Galaxy Z foldable smartphones. The first-ever smart ring, running on the Samsung Health platform, is available in three finishes and sizes up to 13. It is packed with numerous health tracking and sleep monitoring functions. The Galaxy Ring has a water-resistant build and a lightweight design, weighing between 2.3 and 3.0 gms. Samsung Galaxy Ring: Price and Colour Options

The Samsung Galaxy Ring, which retails for USD 399 (about Rs 34,000), can be pre-ordered in a few markets and will be generally available on July 24. The device comes in three colour options: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold.

Samsung Galaxy Ring: Specifications and Features

A total of nine sizes are available for the Galaxy Ring, spanning from five to thirteen. A sizing kit is included with the wearable to assist you in selecting the appropriate size from the nine options. It has an 8MB memory and a PPG (Photoplethysmography) sensor that allows users to identify abnormal heartbeat patterns. Its accelerometer and temperature sensor provide wearers with information about their overall health. Notably, the Samsung Health app is compatible with the device. The new Ring has Galaxy AI touch, just like Samsung's latest Galaxy devices. It generates a comprehensive health report with various parameters and provides wearers with recommendations using Galaxy AI capabilities like Energy Score and Wellness Tips. 

To provide information about sleep patterns and create better habits, the Samsung Galaxy Ring has a sleep AI algorithm. The wearable offers sleep metrics like heart and respiratory rate, movement during sleep, and sleep latency in addition to the Sleep Score and snoring analysis. With Cycle Tracking, skin temperature monitoring can be used for tracking the menstrual cycle.

The Samsung Health app's Heart Rate Alert feature is said to deliver real-time heart rate notifications to users. The other health-related functions on the gadget include Auto Workout Detection and Inactive Alerts. Additionally, with a few taps on connected Galaxy smartphones, the Ring can be used to take pictures or turn off alarms. With Samsung Find's Find My Ring feature, users may use their Galaxy smartphone to locate their Galaxy Ring. It is made of titanium grade 5 and supports Bluetooth 5.4.

The wearable is accompanied by a specifically designed charging case with LED illumination to indicate charging status. The case includes a 361mAh battery and claims to provide up to seven days of battery life on a single charge.
