Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy Watch Ultra, a new smartwatch designed to compete with the Apple Watch Ultra 2. This watch is built to be tough, with a titanium frame and a Sapphire Crystal screen. The display is a vibrant 1.5-inch AMOLED panel with a best-in-class brightness of 3,000 nits. The Galaxy Watch Ultra runs on One UI 6, which is the first version of One UI to be based on WearOS. This new software brings innovative health-tracking features, including the Energy Score. This feature analyzes factors like sleep, activity, and heart rate to give you insights into your body's energy levels. In other words, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is a feature-packed smartwatch designed for durability, performance, and advanced health tracking.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra: Features

The Galaxy Watch Ultra boasts an innovative design featuring a new cushion and Dynamic Lug System for enhanced comfort. Its multi-sports tile can track triathlon workouts, while the Functional Threshold Power feature uses AI-powered metrics to measure cycling power.

The watch includes a Personalized HR Zone to help users optimize their workout intensity. It also features a new Quick Button for instant workout starts and function mapping, along with an Emergency Siren for added safety.

Post-workout statistics are now clearly displayed, with watch faces that transition to Night Mode for better visibility in low-light conditions. The watch also offers a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, ensuring readability even in direct sunlight.

Powered by the new Exynos W1000 chipset built on a 3nm process, the Galaxy Watch Ultra delivers 3x faster CPU performance and 30 per cent better power efficiency. It also features dual-frequency GPS for faster location detection.
