The South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with a 10.4-inch WUXGA (1,200x2,000 pixels) TFT display. The dimensions of the tab are 244.5 x 154.3 x 7mm, and it weighs 467 grams. The tab is available in three different colours – chiffon pink, angora blue, and oxford grey.
It runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top and is powered by 7,040mAh battery, one that can be charged using the USB-C port. The tab is expected to deliver about 12 hours of Internet usage on a single charge. The smart tablet is accompanied by an S-Pen with a 0.7mm tip, which weighs only 7.03 grams. It also offers Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound experience via dual speakers from AKG. The device has an octa-core chipset and Samsung’s Exynos 9611 processor.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite offers 4GB of RAM and in-built storage of 64GB. There is also a 128GB of storage variant available. In terms of connectivity, the device has several options, which include Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The sensors on the tab include an accelerometer, gyroscope, and ambient lighting. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite houses an 8-megapixel camera at the back with an auto-focus lens and a 5-megapixel camera at the front for selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes in two variants – Wi-Fi variant and LTE variant. The Wi-Fi variant is available for ₹27,999 whereas the LTE variant is available for ₹31,999. The former will be on sale on Amazon and Samsung India e-Store, and the latter will be available on selected retail outlets, a few online portals, and the Samsung India e-store. The tablet will be available for pre-booking until 16 June, with its sale scheduled from June 17.
