Celebrating 10 years of Galaxy series of devices, Samsung today launched Galaxy S10 Plus and Galaxy S10 for Indian consumers. Both the devices now come with a refined design, improved camera and a powerful display. The Galaxy S10 supports HDR10+ content allowing consumers to see a wider range of colours for an immersive experience. Even without a filter, Galaxy S10 reduces blue light through its TÜV Rheinland-certified Eye Comfort display which helps protect your eyes without compromising picture quality.
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ feature a triple camera module design. The main camera module has a 12MP sensor and a dual-aperture lens that intelligently varies between an f/1.5 and f/2.4 aperture.
The secondary camera is a 12MP 2x telephoto lens, with an f/2.4 lens. The devices come with an ultra-wide-angle 16MP lens and a 123-degree Field of View (FoV), allowing users not only see wider, but also closer with a naked eye.
For content creators, the Galaxy S10 offers Super Steady recording with digital stabilisation technology. The S10’s front camera supports UHD video so you can capture high-quality content and record 4K UHD selfie videos.
With the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) available on the chipset, users can get pro-grade shots without having to manually select any advanced camera settings. Scene Optimiser can automatically recognise and more accurately process additional scenes because of the NPU.
The Galaxy S10 will come with a new and improved version of Bixby Vision. This is a ‘Make for India’ innovation for Indian consumers developed by the Samsung R&D Institute in Bengaluru. And through partnership with online fashion retailer Myntra, Bixby Vision on the Galaxy S10 will provide a new ‘Try and Buy’ feature that will make shopping more convenient than ever before.
Bixby Vision will also allow S10 users to find nearby restaurants by simply pointing their cameras at a street or a building. Samsung has partnered with Magicpin to provide users with live information on nearest local restaurants and points of interest right from their camera.
With the Galaxy S10+, you can get up to 12GB of RAM and one terabyte of internal storage. Both the newly launched devices come with Wireless PowerShare, making it possible to easily charge Qi-certified smartphone devices and even compatible wearable devices.
The company also introduced Galaxy Buds -- cord-free earbuds that offer a compact design and easy controls.
