Samsung’s next device in the affordable Galaxy M series will be the Galaxy M30s. Amazon India has already created a dedicated page for the Galaxy M30s announcing its availability from September 18 along with a few details.
The Galaxy M30s has also appeared on Chinese regulatory agency TENAA confirming some additional features. The smartphone is expected to come with a 6.4-inch 1080p+ Super AMOLED display with a teardrop notch that also houses the 24MP selfie camera. The M30s will be powered the Exynos 9611 paired up with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage.
The Galaxy M30s is said to succeed the Galaxy M30 and will come with slight improvements. While the Galaxy M30 sports a 13MP rear camera, the M30s is expected to come with a 48MP rear camera. Samsung is also reported to increase the resolution camera to 8MP as compared to the 5MP in the M30. The bokeh sensor is not changed and it will be 5MP.
The page on Amazon for the M30s also claims the device to have a huge 6,000mAh battery than the 5,000mAh battery in the M30. According to the media reports, the M30s could support 18W fast charging as compared to 15W charging, thanks to a new Exynos chipset.
Earlier this year, Samsung has launched numerous devices in the refreshed Galaxy A and the Galaxy M series to give a tough competition to its Chinese rivals – Xiaomi, Realme and Vivo. Presently, the Galaxy M series includes Galaxy M10, M20, M30 and M40 smartphones.
Priced at Rs 14,990, the Galaxy M30 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display encased in a sleek plastic unibody with slim bezels at the top and sides. The smartphone offers an 84.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio, a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 403ppi density.
