The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is the latest addition in the Galaxy S20 line-up from Samsung, which is actually a spiritual successor to the affordable Galaxy S10 Lite from earlier this year. The S20 FE looks identical to the recently launched Note20 than the S20 line-up from earlier this year.
In terms of its specifications, the Galaxy S20 FE gets a flat 6.5-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display with a hole-punch cutout at the top. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch response rate, and has a 2400 x 1080-pixel resolution. Further, it packs an optical in-display fingerprint scanner at the bottom and a 32MP selfie camera up top.
Speaking of cameras, the S20 FE features a triple camera setup at the rear, which includes a 12MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Other than that, the phone comes powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of built-in storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
The smartphone comes backed up by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging via USB-C. It also supports 15W wireless charging along with reverse wireless charging. Moreover, the phone runs on Android 10 with Samsung's OneUI 2.0 on top. It also gets IP68 water and dust protection.
Lastly, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is priced at $699 (around ₹51,400) for the 5G variant. An LTE variant is expected to follow soon. The Galaxy S20 FE will go on sale starting October 2 in six colours – cloud white, cloud red, cloud orange, cloud mint, cloud lavender, and cloud navy.
