The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition, the latest addition to Xiaomi's Redmi K70 lineup, has debuted in China. The new device has 24GB of RAM along with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ CPU. The K70 Extreme Edition features a triple camera setup at the back with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 6.67-inch 1.5K display. It has a 5,500mAh battery and 120W fast charging capability. As for the colour options, the model is available in Clear Snow White, Ice Blue, and Ink Feather Black (translated from Chinese). Meanwhile, the K70 Ultra Supreme Champion Edition comes decked out in Green and Orange hues.

The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition's starting price for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option is CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 31,000). The 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant costs CNY 2,899 (approximately Rs 34,000), while the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model costs CNY 3,199 (around Rs 36,000). The top-of-the-line model, which comes with 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM, costs CNY 3,599 (about Rs 43,000). The Redmi K70 Ultra Supreme Champion Edition, on the other hand, costs CNY 3,999 (about Rs 47,000) and comes with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution (1,220x2,712 pixel) display on the dual SIM (Nano) Redmi K70 Extreme Edition has a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 480Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 4,000 nits. It operates on the company's new HyperOS interface. The display is said to have glass protection and 3840Hz frequency PWM dimming.
With up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage, the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition is powered by the 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Its triple rear camera unit, which includes an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera sensor with a 1/1.56-inch size, provides excellent optics. The 20-megapixel front camera is used for video chats and selfies.
The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition incorporates a USB Type-C port, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Beidou as connectivity options. Several sensors are installed on board, such as an optical distance sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, flicker sensor, ambient colour temperature sensor, and gyroscope. Also, an in-display fingerprint sensor is included with the phone for authentication. It has a 3D ice-cooling system for thermal control and an X-axis linear vibration motor for gaming. Additionally, the phone has dual stereo speakers that enable Dolby Atmos. The Redmi model is waterproof and dustproof, rated IP68.
The 5,500mAh battery of the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition can be charged with a 120W wired charger. It is stated that the fast charging technology can fully charge the battery in just 24 minutes. For improved performance, the battery has Xiaomi's G1 battery management chip and P2 fast charging chip. The K70 has dimensions of 160.38 x 75.14 x 8.39mm and a weight of approximately 211 gm.
