Realme X50 Pro 5G is the next big offering from Realme and the company was supposed to launch the device at the MWC 2020. The event stands cancelled but this hasn’t stopped the company from unveiling the features of the phone. In the latest development, the company has confirmed that the Realme X50 Pro 5G will come with a Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The Super AMOLED screen will be made by Samsung and and have E3 light-emitting material. Reports have suggested that the handset will feature a Full HD+ panel with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. Realme has now joined the companies that have launched or will unveil smartphones with screens featuring high refresh rate. Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S20 Series of smartphones with 120Hz refresh rate.

According to information available on Realme’s website, the phone will get a power bump from the X50 and come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 same processor. With this, the Realme X50 Pro 5G will be among a handful of smartphones, like the Galaxy S20 Series, to come with this flagship processor. Another highlighting feature of the Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone is the 65W wired charging speed, which Realme is calling as SuperDart technology.

The company has been teasing a quad-camera setup with 50x zoom capability. An image on the company’s website also hints of a dual-camera front camera setup. The phone is likely to ship with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. As mentioned above, the phone was supposed to launch at the MWC 2020 in Barcelona, which means that the device will not be confined to China only. It is likely to launch in India, Europe, among other markets.
Update 1: Realme has updated its website and has confirmed a total of six cameras on the phone -- a quad camera setup on the back and a dual camera setup on the front. Further, the company also cleared that the handset will offer 20x Zoom -- details of which are still unknown.

Update 2: Realme has confirmed that the X50 Pro 5G will include a 32MP selfie wide camera, which will be coupled with an ultrawide angle snapper with a field-of-view of 105 degrees. Further, the company's European arm confirmed that phone will launch in two colours: Rust Red and Moss Green.
