Realme has launched the P1 5G in the Indian market. The P1 5G is Realme's mid-range smartphone, which comes in two variants – the P1 and the P1 Pro. Both variants, in turn, are offered in two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The 6GB + 128GB version of the Realme P1 5G is priced at Rs 15,999, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs 18,999. Meanwhile, the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB versions of the P1 Pro 5G are priced at Rs 21,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively. For early birds, coupons worth up to Rs 2,000 will be available on the purchase of the Realme P1 5G. The early bird sale will begin today on Flipkart and Realme India website at 6 pm IST and run till 8 pm.
As for the Realme P1 Pro 5G, there will be a flat Rs 2,000 discount, although applicable on select bank cards. The Red Limited Sale for the P1 Pro will be held on April 22 from 6 pm IST to 8 pm. Aside from the Realme P1 5G series, the Realme Buds T110 and the Realme Pad 2 Wi-Fi variant will be up for sale on Flipkart and Realme India website. The latter, which is priced at Rs 17,999, will go on sale on April 19 from 12 pm IST.
The Realme P1 5G gets a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,000 nits of peak brightness level. Additionally, the display supports Rainwater Touch tech enabling the users to use the device with wet hands or during rainy weather. Powering the P1 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with a seven-layer VC cooling system. For graphics-related chores, the phone is coupled with the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.
On the other hand, the Realme P1 Pro 5G uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 950 nits of peak brightness level, a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio, and a 2,160Hz PWM high-frequency dimming rate. Like the P1, the Pro comes with a Rainwater Touch feature but gets an IP65 dust and water resistance rating.
Camera-wise, the Realme P1 5G range features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 primary sensor. While the P1 houses a 2-megapixel B&W secondary sensor, the P1 Pro is equipped with an 8-megapixel portrait sensor. At the front, both smartphones have the same 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. In addition, the phones pack the same 5,000mAh battery and are compatible with 45W wired SuperVOOC fast charging.
The Realme P1 5G series runs on the latest Android 14 OS and promises two years of OS upgrades and three years of security patches. The P1 comes in Peacock Green and Phoenix Red colour options, whereas the P1 Pro is available in Parrot Blue and Phoenix Red shades.
