The 4nm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip-equipped Realme GT 6T was launched in India last week. With this latest release, the GT series made its long-awaited return to the Indian market. Vice President of Realme Chase Xu has now revealed that the Realme GT 7 Pro is also set to make its debut soon. The upcoming model is anticipated to provide improvements over the Realme GT 5 Pro. The latter was introduced in China by the end of 2023. However, the flagship model was not released in India. Chase Xu, in response to a user's question regarding the reason behind not bringing the GT 5 Pro in India, disclosed that Realme will introduce the GT 7 Pro in India this year. But he withheld any information regarding the launch's exact date or specs.

The Realme GT 5 Pro was launched in China in December last year. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Based on this, we can expect the Realme GT 7 Pro to launch by the end of the year with the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. Moreover, the company is likely to introduce another GT-series smartphone, the Realme GT 6, in June.
The base-spec 12GB RAM + 256GB storage Realme GT 5 Pro edition is priced at CNY 3,298 (about Rs 40,000). With a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, it has a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,264x2,780 pixel) AMOLED display. It also comes with a 1TB capacity for storage and up to 16GB of RAM. The phone contains three rear cameras, the most important of which is the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 sensor. A 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera is located on the front for taking selfies. The Realme GT 5 Pro is powered by a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.

The Realme GT 6T, the company's most recent flagship, made its debut this month. It is a mid-range smartphone, carrying a starting price of Rs 30,999. Interested customers can purchase the smartphone via Amazon or Realme India's official website.
