Realme GT 7 Pro India Launch Confirmed, Will Get Flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC

Qualcomm recently unveiled its flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which features a second-generation Oryon CPU rather than the Kryo CPU. Touted to be the 'world's fastest mobile CPU', the Oryon CPU powers all eight cores in the processor – two Prime (4.32 GHz) and six Performance (3.53 GHz) cores. And of the upcoming Android smartphones, the Realme GT 7 Pro will be the first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered device to launch in India. Other smartphones include the Xiaomi 15 Series, Samsung Galaxy S25 Series, Vivo X200 Ultra, OnePlus 13, and the iQOO 13.

The teaser released by the Chinese brand Realme confirms the launch of the GT 7 Pro by November 2024. The company's flagship phone, the GT 7 Pro, will be available on Amazon India and offline stores. Interested buyers can also buy through Realme's official website.

Realme GT 7 Pro: More About Snapdragon 8 Elite 

Built on a 3nm process, the Snapdragon 8 Elite offers a 45 per cent increase in CPU performance and a 44 per cent boost in power efficiency compared to its predecessor. It also claims a revamped Adreno GPU, enhancing graphic performance by 40 per cent. As a result, the processor lets buyers enjoy extended gameplay sessions of up to 2.5 hours, according to Qualcomm. 

Realme GT 7 Pro: Display, Battery

While not confirmed, the display is expected to be the Samsung-sourced curved AMOLED panel with DC dimming, 1.5k resolution, peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Per rumours, the Realme GT 7 Pro will come with a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

Realme GT 7 Pro: Camera

On the back, the Realme GT 7 Pro could house a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera (with 3x optical zoom), and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-facing camera might be a 16-megapixel unit for selfies and video chats.

Other expected bits include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, and Android 15-based Realme UI 6. The device's thickness may be around 9mm.
