Realme has launched its GT-branded smartphone in India – the GT 6T. Starting May 29, the Realme GT 6T will effectively be on sale at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB variants will effectively cost Rs 26,999, Rs 29,999, and Rs 33,999, respectively. The prices are inclusive of sale offers – consisting of a Rs 4,000 discount on selected bank cards and a Rs 2,000 exchange offer, not to mention no-cost EMI up to 6 months. Once these offers end, the price of the Realme GT 6T will range from Rs 30,999 to Rs 39,999. Colour options include Fluid Silver and Razor Green. The smartphone will be available for purchase in our market through Amazon, Realme's official website, and select offline stores in the country.
The biggest talking point is a 4nm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset powering the Realme GT 6T. Aiming at high-tier smartphones, the chipset, which is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of built-in UFS 4.0 storage, is the first for India.
For optics, the back panel of the Realme GT 6T features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) as well as an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 sensor with an ultrawide lens, both placed in separate, circular modules. For selfies and video calls, you get a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor placed in a hole-punch cutout
Since it is a rebranded GT Neo 6 SE, the Realme GT 6T features a 6.78-inch LTPO curved AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution of 2,789 x 1,264 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 6000 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. It also gets an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The Realme GT 6T is backed by a long-lasting 5,500mAh battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging technology. It measures 162x75.1x8.65mm and tips the scales at 191 grams. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5, with the company offering three Android OS upgrades and an additional year of security updates.

An array of connectivity options includes 5G support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
