Realme has launched a new budget smartphone – the C63 – in India. After its release in the Indonesian market, the Realme C63 has now made its way here. While the C63 checks the boxes in terms of battery and charging capabilities, people looking for a performance-oriented smartphone may have to look for other alternatives. Speaking of the battery, the device is powered by a large 5,000mAh unit with 45W wired fast charging support. The 45W fast charger is claimed to offer one-hour call time with only one minute of charging. However, it remains to be seen whether you also get a fast charger along with the device.
Priced at Rs 8,999, the Realme C63 is available in a single configuration in India: 4GB + 128GB. It will go on sale starting July 3 through Flipkart, Realme's official website, and offline retail stores. Like the Indonesia-spec model, the Indian counterpart can be had in two colour options – Leather Blue and Jade Green.
On the back, the Realme C63 has a vegan leather design, which can also be seen on the recently launched Realme Narzo N63 (Rs 8,499). The C63 features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, 90.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio and peak brightness of 450 nits.
The Realme C63 runs on an octa-core Unisoc T612 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A virtual RAM feature is also available, which can be expanded up to 8GB. For optics, there is a dual camera setup at the rear, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, the phone gets an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
