China’s Realme has announced the Realme C2 is available in the nearly 8,000 offline stores throughout the country. The smartphone comes in three variants with 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM, 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM starting at Rs 5,999. The smartphone will be available in diamond black and diamond blue colours.
The Realme C2 comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ dewdrop notch display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery, 2.0GHz and 12nm octa-core Helio P22 processor. The smartphone has 256GB of expandable storage with a triple Independent card slot which supports dual sim 4G. The device sports AI-based dual rear camera -- 13MP+2 MP and support an 80fps/480P slow-motion video recording. The Realme C2 runs on color OS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie.
The brand currently has eight products in its portfolio including Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 3, Realme 2 Pro, Realme 3 Pro, Realme U1, Realme C1 And Realme C2.
According to a report by Counterpoint Research and IDC, Realme has become the fourth largest smartphone brand in India since fourth quarter of 2018. The company has a total of 283 service centres across India and plans to expand the service network in line with the growing market reach across the country to serve customers more efficiently. Realme has exclusive service centres in Delhi, Mumbai and Bhopal and plans to open 25 ESCs by end of this year.
