After launching the Realme C11 last month, Realme has brought its C12 and C15 to the Indian market. Both the C series smartphones from the Chinese giant lie in the sub-₹10,000 price bracket.
As for the similarities, both the phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, boast 6.5-inch HD+ displays with waterdrop notch, run on Realme UI on top of Android 10, and are backed by 6,000mAh batteries that draw power from a micro-USB port. However, the C15 supports up to 18W fast charging, while the C12 gets support for 10W charging.
In the optics department, the C15 features a Quad-camera setup at the rear, comprising a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, 2MP monochrome, and 2MP retro sensors. Moreover, it packs an 8MP selfie shooter at the front.
The C12, on the other hand, gets a Triple-camera setup at the back, retaining the 13MP primary and 2MP monochrome sensor from the C15, but dropping the 8MP ultrawide and 2MP retro camera in favour of a 2MP macro shooter. As for the selfie camera, the C12 gets a smaller 5MP sensor as opposed to the C15's 8MP module.
Lastly, both the smartphones feature the rear-mounted fingerprint sensors, triple card slots (two SIM + microSD), and come in two colour options - power blue and power silver.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Realme C12 comes in a sole 3GB+32GB variant, which is priced at ₹8,999. The Realme C15, on the other hand, is priced at ₹9,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and ₹10,999 for the higher-end 4GB+64GB variant. The Realme C12 will be available starting August 24, while the C15 will be available from August 27. Both the smartphones will be available on Realme’s website and Flipkart.
