Realme is all geared up to launch the Realme X2 and Realme Buds Air on December 17. Almost a week ahead of the launch, the price of the Realme Buds Air, the Chinese company's answer to Apple AirPods, was accidentally leaked on Flipkart. As per the listing, which is now removed, the hearables are priced at Rs 4,999. This is higher than the company’s Rs 1,799 price of the neckband wireless headphones Realme Buds Wireless, and quite cheaper than the second-generation AirPods that are priced at Rs 14,900 in India.
The Flipkart listing also mentioned that the Realme Buds Air will be available at 5 per cent cashback on Axis Bank Credit Card and Axis Bank Buzz Credit card. Those who wish to purchase it can get Rs 400 coupon for Realme Buds Air from December 9 to December 16. All you have to do is purchase any one of the Realme X2 Pro, Realme XT, Realme 5 Pro, Realme X or Realme X Master.
Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth gave a sneak peak of the devices at the launch of the Realme X2 Pro launch last month. He revealed the name of the hearables on Twitter recently, and teased the Black, White, and Yellow colour options. The device is likely to come with a 12mm ‘Bass boost’ driver and have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Realme Buds Air will also offer Google Assistant support and touch controls.
Apart from the earbuds, the company will also launch the Realme X2 Star Wars Edition and Realme XT 730G that may be called Realme X2 in India. The Realme X2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and is likely to come in various configurations. It will have 30W SuperVOOC charging tech and 32MP front shooter. According to a landing page on Flipkart, the company will reveal features tomorrow, i.e., on December 11.
