Realme has launched two new smartphones in India, in addition to a new TWS earphone called the Buds T01. The smartphones – the 13 5G and the 13+ 5G – are identical in terms of design but feature different chipsets underneath. The standard Realme 13 starts at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and goes up to Rs 19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 13+ ranges between Rs 22,999 and Rs 26,999, and comes in 3 configurations (8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB). Buyers pre-ordering the phones get benefits worth up to Rs 3,000. Sales will commence on September 6 through Flipkart, Realme's online portal, and authorised offline retail stores.
As for colour options, the Realme 13 5G can be had in Speed Green and Dark Purple colours, while the premium 13+ 5G additionally comes in a Victory Gold colour.

Underneath the skin, the Realme 13 5G gets a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, whereas the 13+ 5G uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset with up to 26GB Dynamic RAM and 256GB storage, along with virtual RAM support. The Realme 13 and the Realme 13+ run on Android 14-based Realme UI and Realme UI 5.0, respectively.
The Realme 13 5G offers a slightly bigger display, measuring 6.72 inches. Meanwhile, the 13+ 5G has a 6.67-inch unit. The regular version has an LCD panel, whereas the premium 13+ device houses an AMOLED panel. But, both phones have an identical 120Hz refresh rate as well as boast the same FHD+ resolution. The other commonality is a Rainwater smart touch feature.
The Realme 13 series has a circular camera module on the back panel, with both phones sporting dual rear camera setups. The rear camera setup of the 13 5G combines a 50-megapixel Samsung S5 KJNS primary sensor with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, whereas the 13+ 5G offers a mix of 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Both devices are equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie shooter.
The phones even share a 5,000mAh battery pack with 45W charging support for the standard version and 80W charging support for the top-end 13+ model. Also available is a GT mode, offering lag-free gaming while maintaining 90fps speed on the 13+ 5G. Connectivity options include dual 5G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The standard version has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, while the 13+ phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Launched alongside the Realme 13 series, the Buds T01 offers up to 28 hours of playback time with the charging case. They have an in-ear design and come with a 13mm dynamic bass driver unit and PET diaphragm for rich bass and clear sound. They are available at Rs 1,299 in Black and White shades.
