After launching the Poco X2 earlier, the Xiaomi-based brand has now launched the Poco M2 Pro, which is a mid-range smartphone that aims to widen the brand's target audience in the Indian market.
The Poco M2 Pro features a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 2400 x 1080-pixels resolution, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display houses a 16MP front-facing camera, which sits neatly in a punch-hole at the top.
As for the rear camera setup, the M2 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup, featuring a 48MP main sensor, along with an 8 MP ultrawide-angle cam + 5 MP macro + 2 MP depth sensors. The smartphone also comes with a capacitive fingerprint scanner on the side. Moreover, it runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 with the Poco Launcher on top. Lastly, the massive 5,000mAh battery can be juiced up via 33W fast charging through USB-C.
The Poco M2 Pro price in India is set at ₹13,999 for the base 4GB+64GB version. The 6GB+64GB and the 6GB+128GB, on the other hand, are priced at ₹14,999 and ₹16,999, respectively. The smartphone will be available in three shades – two shades of black, out of the blue, and green & greener – starting July 14 as a Flipkart exclusive.
