Following a slew of rumours and speculations, Poco has launched its F6 smartphone in India. Starting at Rs 29,999 for the base-spec 8GB + 256GB device, it is a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3 available in the Chinese market. At the top of the heap sits the 12GB + 512GB priced at Rs 33,999. Between these two is positioned the 12GB + 256GB model. That can be had at Rs 31,999. Sales for the new smartphone will commence on May 29 at noon. For early birds, the 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB variants will be available at Rs 25,999, Rs 27,999, and Rs 29,999, respectively. The prices are inclusive of sale offers consisting of a Rs 2,000 instant bank discount and a Rs 2,000 exchange offer. You can also gain from 2 years of warranty on the first day of sale.
You only get to choose between two colour options: Classic Black and Titanium Glow. Starting May 29, the Poco F6 5G will go on sale through Flipkart, the Poco website, and other retail stores.

Under the hood, the Poco F6 gets a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. With this, it becomes the first smartphone in the country to be equipped with this chipset. For thermal management, the smartphone has a Poco Iceloop system. The device runs on the Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS interface, with Poco offering three major Android updates and four years of security patches. The F6 boasts of a powerful 5,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
For optics, the Poco F6 features dual cameras – a 50-megapixel 1/1.9-inch Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), electronic image stabilisation (EIS), and f/1.59 aperture, as well as an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera. The front houses a 20-megapixel OV20B camera for selfies and video chats.
In terms of display, the POCO F6 sports a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 480Hz touch sampling rate, up to 2400 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Moreover, the display comes with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 2160Hz PWM Dimming, DC Dimming, and Widevine L1.
Measuring 160x74.4x7.8mm and tipping the scales at 179 grams, the Poco F6 has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It also gets hybrid dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, as well as an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock for biometric authentication. Also present is the AON mode, an AI-driven gesture recognition feature for answering calls, fast-forwarding Netflix videos, and more.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port.
