At the much-awaited 'Made by Google 2024' event, Google drew a lot of attention with its range of new devices, including the latest models in its Pixel lineup. The new Pixel Watch 3 and the highly anticipated Pixel Buds Pro 2, both brimming with cutting-edge features, were among the highlights. The Pixel Watch 3 has arrived on the market with significant updates and a classic circular design that fans have grown to love. Google used recycled aluminium in construction. The tech giant is now taking pre-orders for the Pixel Watch 3.

The 41mm variant of the Pixel Watch 3 with Wi-Fi connectivity starts at Rs 39,900 in India, whereas the larger model with a 45mm display and Wi-Fi connectivity, starts at Rs 43,900. Both 41mm and 45mm models are available in Hazel, Obsidian, and Porcelain shades, however, the smaller model also comes in a Pink colour option. According to the brand, the device will be available for purchase in India on August 22 via Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma retail stores.

Unlike the previous generation model, which had an AMOLED screen, the Pixel Watch 3 comes with two display sizes: 41mm and 45mm. Both versions are outfitted with the company's Actua display. The Pixel Watch 3 can reach a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits, which is twice as bright as the model from the previous year, and can lower to 1 nit in low-light conditions, says Google. The bezels are nearly 16 per cent thinner than the older model.
According to Google, the Pixel Watch 3 can provide information like stride length, vertical oscillation, and cadence, and it can even help users create intricate running routines. To help users concentrate on their recovery, it also supports newly added functions for tracking cardio load and readiness. Fitbit customers can access a feature called, Morning Brief, which offers an overview of health data and changes to any metrics overnight. The Pixel Watch 3's battery life stays constant, with the wearable lasting up to 24 hours, with the always-on display option activated. If battery saver mode is on, Google claims the watch can provide up to 36 hours of battery backup. Nonetheless, the Pixel Watch 3's 41mm version offers a 20 per cent quicker charging rate than the brand's second-generation smartwatch.
