TPV Technology, the company that sells Philips branded gadgets, has launched the Philips TAPB603 soundbar with a wireless woofer. The 3.1 CH soundbar features Dolby Atmos technology and delivers 320W of total output for cinematic quality sound. It is available across leading online and offline partners at Rs 31,990. The three channels create a virtual 3D surround sound that gives a perception of height and depth. The soundbar comes with central speakers in order to provide dialogue clarity during intense fighting scenes and/or background music.
The soundbar can be connected with television, set-top boxes, gaming consoles, smartphones, tablets, laptops, and MP3 players. Customers can use multiple connections – it comes with an HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) connection, which sends audio from your TV to the soundbar, two other HDMI inputs with 4K pass-through, audio-in & optical inputs, and an integrated Bluetooth function. (Note: 4K pass-through is a feature of an A/V receiver that allows a video source to pass unaffected through the receiver to a 4K TV without any processing.)
