Only last month, OnePlus announced the 8 and 8 Pro, but they only went on sale in selected countries. Early users of the OnePlus 8 series registered a compliant regarding a green-tint issue on the display.
To fix the issue, OnePlus released the OxygenOS 10.5.4 update for the OnePlus 8 in the European Union region and rolled out OxygenOS 10.5.5 for the Indian and the International market. The 8 Pro, on the other hand, received the OxygenOS 10.5.6 update for European, Indian, and International markets.
OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro both share a joint changelog. A quick look at the changelog reveals that the company has revised the overall system stability and fixed all other known issues, like the aforementioned green-tint display issue. The devices have also received optimised display effects.
Moreover, the cameras on both the devices are more precise now, thanks to a dirt detection feature, which notifies you if there is any dirt on the lens. Also, the front camera’s shooting experience has been largely upgraded with this update.
As one can notice, the changelog is not very voluminous. Still, these minor changes have significantly improved the devices! The price of the OnePlus 8 in India starts from ₹41,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, and the price of OnePlus 8 Pro starts from ₹54,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration.
