OnePlus has rolled out the Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 update for the Nord 4 and Nord CE 4 smartphones in India. After a month-long Closed Beta Testing (CBT) program, the update is now available to a wider audience, bringing various improvements and new features. OxygenOS 15 includes new features such as Flux Themes for customization, improved Live Alerts for better notifications, enhanced multitasking for smoother performance, and AI-driven optimizations that enhance both performance and user experience. The update is being rolled out in phases in India, with plans to expand to North America, Europe, and other regions starting next week.
OxygenOS 15, built on Android 15, introduces new tools and updates to improve functionality, multitasking, and security. Powered by Google’s Gemini AI model, the update focuses on streamlining tasks and enhancing device use. The update includes Intelligent Search for easier file and note searches, AI Notes for writing assistance, and AI Reply for automated responses in messaging apps. Photography features include AI Detail Boost for image upscaling, AI Unblur to fix blurry photos, and AI Reflection Eraser for clearer images. The new Share with iPhone feature supports file sharing between OnePlus devices and iPhones.

OxygenOS 15 improves multitasking with updated controls. Pulling down notification banners opens apps in floating windows, and expanding floating windows to full screen is more straightforward. Resizable split-view windows let users adjust app sizes by dragging the divider.
The update refines app transitions with parallel processing and includes changes to icons, the quick settings menu, and the notification bar for improved navigation and usability.
OxygenOS 15 adds a Theft Detection Lock and Remote Lock to enhance device security. These features build on Android 15's existing security capabilities to protect devices and user data. OxygenOS 15 offers new tools and features for better productivity, multitasking, and security across OnePlus devices.
