It seems that OnePlus has decided to launch a smart band in the market as its first wearable device. Those waiting for the brand to unveil its first smartwatch will have to wait a bit more, as there's no official confirmation regarding the matter as of now.
There have been rumours circulating on the internet suggesting that OnePlus is working to create a rival to Xiaomi’s Mi Band, and it seems like they were right, as the new smart band was recently teased on the brand's Facebook page, albeit without any details regarding the launch or any specifications.

However, tipsters Ishan Agarwal and Mukul Sharma have tweeted about its specifications and the launch date of the device. What's more, we have also got a variety of product images, revealing the smart band's design, something OnePlus hid very well in its official teaser.

The OnePlus band is expected to feature a 1.1-inch AMOLED display, a 14-Day Battery life, an IP68 certification, and 13 exercise modes. It is also expected to come with sleep tracking, 24/7 heart rate tracking, and SpO2 blood saturation monitoring. OnePlus is expected to launch its smart band on January 11 for ₹2,499.
