OnePlus has recently introduced a brand-new colourway for its 12R model in India. The smartphone is now available in an attractive Sunset Dune option in addition to Cool Blue and Iron Grey. The newly launched colour combines soft gold and pink tones. The company states that it is available in a single storage configuration and that it comes backed by several offers, such as free EMI and a free pair of OnePlus Buds 3 with every purchase. The updated colour scheme, meanwhile, is merely a cosmetic improvement; the smartphone's features haven't changed significantly. Notably, the 12R is the first of two smartphones that OnePlus has released this month; the Nord 4 will be unveiled on July 16.

The price of the OnePlus 12R in Sunset Dune colour, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, is Rs 42,999. The sale will begin July 20 onwards.
The company claims that customers who use EMI transactions and ICICI Bank and OneCard credit cards can receive bank discounts of up to Rs 3,000. Furthermore, the maker is providing the Sunset Dune version of the 12R with the OnePlus Buds 3 at no additional cost. If you would like not to pay the entire price at once, you can take advantage of a free nine-month EMI.

The 6.78-inch LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display on the OnePlus 12R has a resolution of 1,264x2,780 pixels. To provide responsive touch interactions, it enables high touch sampling rates of 360Hz and 2160Hz in addition to a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for seamless scrolling.
It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It is powered by OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 14. To ensure thermal efficiency, the smartphone has a cryo-velocity cooling system. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It also supports HDR. The device has a glass back and an aluminium alloy middle frame.
With a primary 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, the phone has a triple back camera configuration for optics. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera as well. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging powers the OnePlus 12R.
