Nothing Ear Open: Spec and Features Details

Similar to the company's previous wireless headsets, the Nothing Ear Open has design components on the stems that are partially transparent. They have an open design with a 14.2mm dynamic driver and a curved band that encircles the back of the wearer's ear. When coupled with a Nothing phone, these headsets can also be used with OpenAI's ChatGPT chatbot. In addition to supporting Google Fast Pair and Swift Pair, the device has pinch controls. With a connected smartphone and the Nothing X app, users may personalise the controls and EQ settings. Two devices can be paired with the Nothing Ear Open at once and it supports Bluetooth 5.3 with AAC and SBC codecs.

The earbuds have an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating, AI-powered Clear Voice technology, and a less than 120ms latency for calls. They do not, however, provide active noise cancellation (ANC). Both headsets have 64mAh batteries, while the charging case includes a 635mAh battery that can be charged by USB Type-C. Without the case, you can talk on the phone for up to six hours and listen to music for eight hours with the earbuds. They provide 24 hours of talk time and up to 30 hours of music playback on a single charge when used with the case. A 10-minute charge provides two hours of listening time. As far as weight is concerned, the earbuds weigh 8.1 g, whereas the case weighs 63.8 g.
