Netflix has introduced a new "Moments" feature that allows users to save and share their favourite scenes from movies and shows, adding a fresh layer of interactivity to the streaming experience. With "Moments," viewers can capture specific clips or memorable moments and share them with friends, creating a more social and personalised way to enjoy the content. Moments can also be shared on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Currently accessible on the iOS app, this feature will be released for Android users in the coming weeks. For Netflix users, this addition brings a new way to connect over shared entertainment moments and relive the best scenes together.
Previously, Netflix users couldn’t capture screenshots, as any attempt to do so resulted in a blank screen – an intentional restriction to prevent unauthorised content sharing. Now, the new "Moments" feature removes this barrier, letting viewers save memorable scenes with ease. By simply tapping a button at the bottom of the screen while watching a show, users can instantly capture a favourite moment, which is saved to their "My Netflix" tab for later viewing. For example, fans of Breaking Bad can archive a specific scene and revisit it whenever they like, with the added option of jumping directly to that part in the episode.
Sharing these captured scenes is equally easy: they can be posted straight to social media platforms like Instagram or Facebook directly from the "My Netflix" tab. With major releases such as the upcoming season of the popular show Stranger Things on the way, this feature promises to be a hit, allowing fans to relive and share special Netflix moments.

While Netflix hasn’t yet announced future phases for "Moments," additional interactive features may be introduced in the coming months.
