In a bid to attract new customers to the platform, Netflix has made three movies and seven TV shows free for the users. However, only the first episode of the following series has been made available for free for the viewers.
The TV series included in the package are The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Stranger Things, Elite, When They See Us, Love Is Blind, Our Planet, and Grace and Frankie, while the movies in the package include Murder Mystery, Bird Box, and The Two Popes.
Netflix has mentioned that the selection of free movies and series will keep changing from time to time. You can visit the Netflix page either through the browser on your Android phone or the desktop browser. For some reason, the iOS browsers are not supported.
This approach was applied by Netflix earlier also. Last year in September, the American content streaming platform offered the first episode of ‘Bard of Blood’ for free in India, which in turn led to a lot of new subscribers and now they are expanding this approach on a global scale.
