Motorola has forayed into Smart TV business and has launched a series of televisions at a starting price of Rs 13,999 in India. With Motorola Smart TV, the company looks to target the price-sensitive audience that looks for feature-laden yet affordable televisions. The range starts from 32-inches display size and goes up to 65-inches panel with 4K resolution. The TVs will be available starting from September 29 midnight, that is, from the first day of Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale.
The 32-inch HD ready model is priced at Rs 13,999 and the 43-inch model with Full HD panel will cost users Rs 24,999. The 4K models start at Rs 29,999 for the 43-inch, the 50-inch 4K model is priced at Rs 33,999, the 55-inch 4K model can be purchased for Rs 39,999 and the 65-inch 4K variant will cost buyers Rs 64,999. All the TVs will run Android OS. While the Android TV version of the 32-inch and the 43-inch FHD models is not known, the other models will run on Android 9 Pie.
The Motorola Smart TV will come equipped with autotuneX display technology, which includes HDR10, Dolby Vision, among others. When it comes to audio, the Lenovo-owned company is offering amphisoundX technology with 30W front-firing speakers supporting Dolby Audio and DTS. The TVs have front-firing speakers that are said to deliver a 30W sound output. The speakers are placed below the display in all models.
The UHD TVs will come with 2.25GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. They are fitted with the Quad core CA53 processor clocked at 1GHz and Mali-450 GPU. The TVs also comes with a wireless gamepad out-of-the-box that will allow users to install and play games. The combi remote (Bluetooth + Infrared) comes with Google Assistant; Netflix, Google Play, YouTube Hot Keys for quick operation. The company also launched the Moto E6s. You can read about it here.
