Just a couple days ago, Microsoft launched the Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7, and Surface Laptop 3 in the Indian market. Today, the company has revealed a slew of new products including Surface Book 3, Surface Go 2, and the Surface Headphones 2.
Microsoft’s Surface Book 3 is the latest high-end laptop. It features an exclusive design that enables one to detach the screen from the laptop and use it as a tablet. Microsoft claims that the laptop is apt for developers, engineers, gamers, and designers. It can now be configured to up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SSDs. The company has moved it up to the newest Intel 10th generation processors. The laptop is available in two variants – a 13.5-inch and a 15-inch. The price of the base 13.5-inch model, with either of the 10th generation Core i5 and Core i7 processor, starts from $1,599 (₹1,20,816 approx.), whereas the price of the base model with a discrete Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU starts from $1,999 (₹1,51,039 approx.). The laptops will be available for sale from 21st May.
Microsoft Surface Go 2 is the smallest tablet in the Surface family. The tablet has been revamped inside out. The screen size has increased from 10 inches to 10.5 inches, which has a resolution of 1920 x 1280 and a 3:2 aspect ratio. It has a similar body as its predecessor. It offers an improved battery life and faster charging. The base model is priced from $399.99 (₹30,222 approx.), featuring the Intel Pentium Gold processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of eMMC storage option. The high-end model, on the other hand, is priced at $629 (₹52,285 approx.) and has 8GB RAM with 128GB SSD with the higher-end CPU. The device weighs 553g and has a magnesium body.
Lastly, Microsoft Surface Headphones 2 is an advanced noise-cancelling headphone with extended battery life, enhanced sound quality, and 13 levels of ambient noise reduction. The ear cups can now rotate up to 180 degrees. The Surface Headphones 2 is priced at $249 (₹18,813 approx.) and will be available in either black or platinum colour.
