Microsoft has introduced the Surface Laptop 7 and Surface Pro 11 in India. The models finally made their way to Indian shores following a global debut last month. Although the official sale date has not yet been announced, the Surface devices are available for pre-order. The devices, which go by the name Copilot+ PCs, are powered by the Snapdragon X series chipset. The starting price for the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 is Rs 1.17 lakh.
The price of the various Surface device variants was revealed in a press release shared by the tech giant. Two display sizes will be offered for the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7. The Snapdragon X series chipset and storage options vary depending on the display size. Similarly, the Surface Pro 11 will come with a Snapdragon X Plus or Snapdragon X Elite processor, with different options for storage and display.

The entry-level OLED model of the Surface Pro 11, which has 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, costs Rs 1.66 lakh, while the base model, which has 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD, is priced at Rs 1.17 lakh. As for the Surface Laptop 7, the 13.5-inch model with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD is available for Rs 1.17 lakh, whereas the 15-inch model with the same configuration costs Rs 1.43 lakh.
If customers pre-order their device within the specified time frame, Microsoft will additionally give them a free Marshall Major IV Wireless Headset, valued at Rs 14,999, and a free one-month subscription to PC Game Pass and Microsoft 365.
While the Pro 11 will be available in Black and Platinum shades, the Laptop 7 will only be offered in Graphite and Platinum colour options. The company has started accepting pre-orders for both models and will be open until August 5. Prospective customers can reserve the same on platforms or locations like Reliance Digital, Amazon, Croma, Vijay Sales, and a few more multi-brand retailers.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 has an LCD and OLED screen option and a 13-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by Snapdragon X Plus and Elite chips and supports up to 65W fast charging. The gadget also has a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU, which can process over 40 trillion operations per second (TOPS). In addition, the Surface Pro boasts a detachable Flex keyboard, a 165-degree-hinged kickstand, a customised haptic touchpad, built-in pen storage, two USB-4 ports, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 compatibility, a Surface Connect port, and a DisplayPort 2.1 port for connectivity. It provides 1TB of storage and up to 32GB of RAM.
The Surface Laptop 7 is available in two display sizes: 13.5 inches and 15 inches. Both are IPS LCDs with touch functionality, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by the most recent Snapdragon X series chips, which can support up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, just like the Surface Pro. The gadget features a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR compatibility, and Dolby Vision IQ. It also includes a neural processing unit (NPU) for AI applications. According to Microsoft, the larger 15-inch model has a battery life of up to 22 hours, while the 13.5-inch model can last up to 20 hours on a single charge. With the 15-inch model, you get a MicroSDXC card reader, two USB-C ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 port, a USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Surface Connect port.
