Logitech Mini Boombox
If you are on the move, and if you love your music, then this little device is just the thing for you. Since you are reading this section of our magazine, I am also assuming that you probably have a smart phone with Bluetooth capabilities, and that’s all you need to make this little sound box go boom.
What we have here is the Logitech Mini Boombox, and that’s exactly what it is – a tiny mini speaker that’s about the size of your hand that blasts your favorite tunes whenever you need to hear it, and no matter where you are. It’s tight, compact and very easy to carry around, or even pack in your backpack.
The good thing about this speaker is that you can charge it via mini-USB, and if you have an iPhone, it can also be used as a nice clear and loud speaker phone. The speaker also looks pretty cool, with a nice black plastic top which also acts as a touch screen control unit, and rubber sides. It’s super easy to turn on and the AUX input, and mini-USB charging point, are easy to spot.
Setting up the Bluetooth connection to an iPhone is very easy, and the same goes with other apple products, since we didn’t test its pairing capabilities with anything else. We did not even need to refer to the manual or the back of the box it came in, to figure out how to use the speaker. The sound quality was also really good, and the sound is louder than most other larger speakers – it was really amazing. The bass was crisp and deep and the tones came out really well.
