Lenovo has introduced its first gaming tablet, the Legion Tab, in India, following its global release in some markets in March 2024. The tablet costs Rs 39,999 for the single 12GB RAM + 25GB storage variant. It is available in a single Storm Grey colour scheme. Interested customers can purchase Lenovo's first-ever gaming tab in India via the company's website, Flipkart, and other stores starting August 15.
The Legion Tab is equipped with an 8.8-inch QHD+ (1,600 x 2,560 pixels) display that supports a 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nits of peak brightness, 98% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Based on Lenovo's PureSight gaming display technology, the display claims a TUV full care 2.0 certification and a pixel density of 343 ppi.
With 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage, the tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. You can use a microSD card to increase the onboard storage capacity by up to 1TB. The Legion Tab has a 6550mAh battery that can be charged at 45W rapid speed via a USB Type-C port. It has Lenovo's Legion ColdFront vapor thermal technology, which keeps the tablet cool throughout extended gaming sessions. Additionally, there are three performance settings available: Energy Saving Mode, Beast Mode, and Balanced Mode. On a single charge, the battery unit provides up to 12 hours of playback time.

The Lenovo Legion Tab features two cameras on its back: a 2-megapixel macro and a 13-megapixel primary sensor with digital zoom. It has an 8-megapixel camera on its front. The Legion Tab from Lenovo comes with a USB Type-C connection for charging and data transfers in addition to WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and other connectivity options. It features DisplayPort 1.4 for connecting to suitable external screens. Other notable highlights of the tablet include dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and a face unlock feature.
