Reliance Jio is taking a big leap for entertainment fans: the JioTV+ App will now be accessible on all popular Smart TV operating systems apart from the JioSTB. The service will now be available on Smart Android, Apple TV, and other TVs powered by Amazon's Fire OS. Support for LG OS-powered TVs will be available soon. Previously, Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber connections came with a Jio set-top box (STB), which was the only way to access the app. With just one login and the JioTV+ app, users of the telecom provider may now access over 800 digital TV channels in various languages and genres. According to the company, the App offers something for everyone, regardless of your interests in the news, sports, or entertainment category.

Reliance Jio said in a press release that the JioTV+ streaming app is accessible on all popular smart TV platforms. It has modern guides, smart remote compatibility, a single login for over-the-top (OTT) apps, and customised recommendations. Additionally, users can use category and language filters to watch their preferred content. They can also choose the playback speed of on-demand content and watch previously aired shows via 'Catch-up TV'. Moreover, besides personalised recommendations, JioTV+ now has a 'Kids safe' zone feature.
With the JioTV+ app, you can enjoy over 800 Digital TV channels across 20 genres and more than 10 languages. This comprises well-known entertainment networks like Colors TV, Sony SAB, and Star Plus; news channels like Aaj Tak and News18; and sports channels like Star Sports and EuroSport. While kids may watch Nick Junior and Cartoon Network, music enthusiasts can enjoy B4U Music and MTV. Furthermore, the app incorporates content from 13 prominent OTT apps, including Disney+, Hotstar, SonyLiv, and Zee5, allowing users to watch films and shows with a single login.
Users may download the JioTV+ app for Android TV devices from the Google Play Store, and the same steps hold for Apple TV and Amazon Fire OS TVs. To access the content, enter the phone number linked with your JioFiber or Jio AirFiber, and authenticate using the OTP.

The new app is exclusively available to users of Jio AirFiber, JioFiber Prepaid (plans starting at Rs 999), and JioFiber Postpaid (plans starting at Rs 599, Rs 899), though. It is important to note that you may need to install supporting apps separately to access the OTT content included with your subscription.
